Jamaica Tourist Board + A Getaway for Mamas

Jamaica for Women

Many women have a strong desire to experience the enchanting landscapes, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality of Jamaica. However, they often face numerous fears and concerns that can deter them from booking their dream vacations. These apprehensions range from safety worries to issues related to group dynamics, accommodations, and more.

My mission is to address these fears and frustrations head-on by providing women with a meticulously crafted, safe, and enriching travel experience in Jamaica. I understand that safety is a top priority for women travelers, and I have designed our trips with this in mind. Our comprehensive approach includes female guides and leaders who are attuned to women's concerns and lofty desires while traveling, transparent safety protocols, and a commitment to creating a supportive community of like-minded travelers.

Fun Fact: My family took a two week road trip across Jamaica during covid pandemic after the boarders opened. We worked closely with the JTB (and a few local stakeholders like Jason Henzell) to ensure all accommodations and locations were approved for our arrival! I am also a TRN holder, although I am not Jamaican :)

Jamaica holds a special place in my heart, with seventeen visits and seven consecutive summers spent in this island paradise. It's been a cherished family tradition, where unforgettable memories were created. Yet, it's also a personal haven of solace and rejuvenation for me. I'm comfortable exploring its beauty both solo and with other women, and I'm excited to share how I've made that possible.

Through sharing my cherished experiences in Jamaica, I've had the pleasure of connecting more than 10 couples and 13 individual travelers with the delightful small hotels and villas that I adore on the island. I'm not a travel agent but rather a devoted admirer of Jamaica's beauty and culture. Most of this was from my social media casual postings!

My experience: From the tranquil sunrise at Jakes Hotel in Treasure Beach to the ocean front moments at a Blue lagoon villa during the pandemic and a productive work-cation at Goldeneye, Jamaica has been my canvas for diverse travel experiences. It's a testament to Jamaica's beauty, diversity, and safety, welcoming women travelers to embrace these trends independently.

These enchanting areas not only offer opulent and immersive experiences but also seamlessly blend luxury with adventure within a secure and serene environment.

The New Solo Traveler

β€œMost married solo travelers are women, travel companies say. These soloβ€”not singleβ€”women say they are motivated to see the world, even if their spouse isn’t interested in the destination. They also enjoy making new friends and the sense of freedom that comes from independent travel.”
